How to install Photoshop Plugins in ACD FotoCanvas

In ACD FotoCanvas 3.0, click on the Filter -> Photoshop Plug-ins -> Plug-in Options menu at the top of the program window.
The Plug-in Options window will appear. Ensure that "Auto-scan on startup" is checked in this window.
Click the Add Path button. This brings up the "Browse For Folder" window. Select the folder where you installed your plugins and click OK. (ACD FotoCanvas 3.0 does not search in sub-folders, so you must choose the exact folder where each plugin is installed.)
Click the OK button on the Plug-in Options window to save your changes.

You'll now need to quit FotoCanvas 3.0 and restart it. The next time you run FotoCanvas, the plugins should be listed in your Filter -> Photoshop Plug-Ins menu.

Note: According to these ACD community forum discussions, it appears that ACD has removed support for Photoshop plugins from their latest products. This includes ACD Photo Editor 2008 and Canvas 11. What a shame! This forum discussion suggests a way to re-enable Photoshop plugins in Canvas 11, but we can't guarantee that our plug-in products would work with it.
