Webscriber reloads the start page when I submit an email address
Does this sound like the sort of situation you (or your website visitors) are encountering?
"After a pause, the email entry box was blanked out and the same page remained - my guess is that Webscriber simply reloaded the initial subscription page over again, with a blank forms entry box."
We've found that customers with Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security installed on their computer are not able to use Webscriber. The "Anti-Phishing" feature that their products use blocks the use of HTTP Location Header redirects - a common web technique that Webscriber uses to move to the next page in the newsletter signup process.
You can make Webscriber work by temporarily disabling the "Anti-Phishing Alert" in PC-cillin. The following instructions from Trend Micro may help:

Trend Micro have been contacted about this, but have not yet indicated if they will modify the behavior of their Anti-Phishing Alert. It's possible that PC-Cillin may have been updated to work with Webscriber by the time you read this.
